Melanie MacLellan comes to The Mortgage Company having been in residential lending for almost 5 years. Melanie specializes in first time homebuyer programs, refinances, as well as one-time close construction loans. As a residential loan officer, Melanie strives to provide excellent customer service and takes the necessary time to walk her clients through the entire process. As a result of Melanie’s professional approach to her business, she has a tremendous amount of repeat clients as well as strong relationships with lenders throughout the Valley.
Prior to entering the residential mortgage industry, Melanie was a paralegal for 10 years working with attorneys and clients in areas of product liability, insurance defense, and general litigation cases. Melanie is a Washington native having lived in the Treasure Valley for almost 5 years. Her previous employers have been Farmer’s Insurance Company in Bellevue, Washington, Liberty Mutual Insurance Company in Boston, Ogden, Murphy, Wallace, LLC in Seattle, Washington and Hawley, Troxell, Ennis & Hawley, in Boise, Idaho.
Melanie and her husband Dan reside in Star and have two daughters, age 5 and 1. In her spare time, Melanie enjoys reading, watching movies, boating, and spending time with friends and family.
